Refund Policy

At NoorNikah, we strive to provide an excellent experience for every member and every Nikah ceremony we facilitate. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before making any payment.

1. Online Nikah Service Fee

The $300 CAD service fee covers the Imam's time, ceremony preparation, pre-ceremony consultation, Zoom facilitation, and the Nikah certificate.

  • Full refund: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled ceremony date are eligible for a full refund.
  • 50% refund: Cancellations made 3–7 days before the ceremony are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • No refund: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the ceremony are non-refundable, as the Imam and resources have already been reserved.
  • Technical issues: If the ceremony cannot be completed due to a failure on our end (Imam unavailability, platform error), we will offer a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost.

2. Rescheduling

You may reschedule your Nikah ceremony at no additional charge if you notify us at least 5 days before the original date. Rescheduling requests made with less than 5 days' notice are subject to a $50 CAD rescheduling fee.

3. Membership / Premium Subscriptions

NoorNikah currently offers free membership. Any future premium tier will clearly state its refund terms at time of purchase. As a general rule:

  • Digital subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate promptly.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@noornikah.ca with:

  • Your full name and booking reference
  • The reason for the cancellation
  • Your original payment method

We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Nikah certificates that have already been issued and signed
  • Pre-ceremony consultations that have already taken place
  • Any portion of the service already rendered

6. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
